MC 2.0 Seminar: New Web 2.0 Strategies to Build Community

Database Designs and Management Consulting Services will hold the next in their series of complementary Web 2.0 seminars October 24th. Learn how to use the newest technological tools to build communities of clients, staff, donors and other stakeholders. Having addressed some of the social networking tools in other sessions, this seminar provides a deeper dive in the strategic implications for technology. We will share successful strategies for using Web 2.0 to futher the mission of organizations and networks of organizations. The session also provides a context for including technology and Web 2.0 into community planning processes. Specifically, we will cover how to:
- Leverage existing strategies with new tools. Example: using social networking sites to build email lists and drive traffic to your website.
- Develop and deliver new strategies based on the new capabilities of Web 2.0. Example: Low effort, high impact partnership strategies sharing content amongst groups within a network.
- Strategies for including web 2.0 to build and facilitate stakeholder communities and networks, including community planning efforts.
