May Management Consulting 2.0 Seminar:
An Introduction to Social Networking
Wednesday May 30, 2007 - 11:30-1:30 - 6 Beacon St Boston
In 2007, social network is no longer just for kids. In this workshop, learn how nonprofits of all types have begun to explore use of MySpace, Care2 and other social networking sites to identify advocacy constituencies, build community, and boost fund-raising.
What you will take away from the workshop:
- A sense of the main popular social networking sites of interest to nonprofit and community initiatives.
- Criteria for communications planning to incorporate social networking initiatives with efforts on your own site to spread your message and broaden fund-raising.
- Practical recommendations for planning your time and beginning to explore and use social networks.
This workshop will hone in themes from last month's workshop, but you need not have attended that one to get value from this. We look forward to seeing you.
